I always enjoy when my friend Todd Callender joins the show. We are seeing significant shifts in the political attitudes of Gen Z, with a growing trend of young people moving away from progressive ideologies and embracing conservative views. In the past, there was an emphasis on leftist ideals, often influenced by institutions and media/big tech, but now there's a noticeable change where being conservative is gaining popularity. This is most apparent in Gen Z’s increased support of Trump, where we see young people wearing MAGA hats to school. As a father to two young girls I am happy to see young people go against the mainstream mockingbird media narrative and stand for conservative values. Truth inevitably emerges over time, even when suppressed.
I see that myself, I’ve got a couple in my house and their thinking is different because they are seeing the truth for the first time, maybe we ALL are seeing the truth for the first time.
Yeah, I think that’s a good point. I do think there’s something that we have to caution ourselves against, because if we’ve established this premise of this discussion, that it’s the morality of the hearts and minds of the people that determine the fate of the nation we also have to remain very vigilant.
